Hi!
I am a 27 years old inspired Student of Architecture who moved to London 20 Years ago from Paris. Moved to Israel and immediately began working with different offices for the last two years. moreover, i am currently completing my B.Arch degree at the Bezalel academy of arts.
I have always expressed myself most powerfully through paintings, sketches, and 3D physical modelling from a young age, not necessarily by using words. Nevertheless, the art and design world has enabled me to give my passion a direction. But Architecture has given me purpose, ambition, discipline, and motivation to use my skills and knowledge to contribute to the world. Using the power of design to express my visions into reality freely. To leave a positive imprint on a community. This design approach contains an incredible power to benefit or improve one individual or many people’s well-being.
Architecture – is the guide to this achievement!
Since I began my path in Architecture academia, I began to reflect on how much of a decisive contribution there is to the makeup of society. Without us realizing it, architecture plays a subconscious role in sociology, history, geography, and everyday activities. Even more mysteriously, how we think, architects can have an immense social and cultural influence. They have the tools to make space more attractive, accessible, and environmentally friendly. I animatedly started reading on architecture design concepts in more awe since I started my foundation course.
Bahamon & Perez’ thesis on animal analogies introduced me to the sheer breadth of creative possibilities inherent in architectural form-making. Works of MacK-ay-Lyons Sweetapple Architects’ in their book ‘Economy as ethics’ opened my eyes to the result of Economy and landscape complementing each other. Without a doubt, Makoko Floating Island by NLE is currently my favourite project. Not just for its simplicity in its triangular design. But this problem solving the communities social and physical needs given climate change and a rapidly urbanizing African context. My hopes and dreams in this exciting career adventure. It is not to design a building that will have no direct impact on its surroundings.
I aspire to create a close relationship with the communities that need us the most. Communities that need an impactful change. Where we can create direct bonds with them, gain their trust and create a difference.
In my eyes, I wish to always look back into my work. And to remember that I have assisted the client with all my soul. For this reason, it would potentially aim for architectural firms that would permit me to learn, grow, take responsibility, and feel part of a team that has the ambition to make a difference. As a result, I aim to develop my skills over the next coming years under the wings of an ambitious team. I would be honoured to offer and develop my technical and research skills. I understand that I may be at the beginning of my journey as an apprentice of architecture. But I am determined to learn and work harder than yesterday to gain knowledge and experience. For the hope of creating a positive imprint in this world!
